Roland’s passion for trees has led him to create his own indigenous forest deep in the gardens, where the earth is soft and the ground is littered with Clivias. Eve’s love of roses has resulted in over 400 roses that quietly bide their time through the winter months and then burst into so many exquisite colours in spring, when there is just banks upon banks of beautiful flowers.
It is a truly magical garden with the edges of the pool room embraced with a carpet of violets & pansies, daisies growing under the blossom tree, old pottery hidden in the soil and sparkling charms hanging from unexpected branches. It is “a garden for all seasons.”
